This single-screen generative video work reimagines everyday transit as a site for speculative futures. Using public transportation footage, the work treats memory as an active, iterative process shaped by choice, repetition, and erasure. Each viewer activates the piece by pressing a button, generating a new clip that produces black-and-white single-line images which accumulate, overlap, and gradually dissolve.
Interactive installation programmed in TouchDesigner. Installation requires a single screen (projector or monitor) and a laptop.
There is no narrative; feel free to watch it at any speed or jump between moments. Each generative moment is different.
